Creating lasting happiness in your life to many people sounds like an impossible feat. To some, happiness is just a fleeting moment of pleasure amidst the hardships of life. Happiness isn’t so much a matter of the amount of pleasure you experience in your life but more about how you deal with life’s experiences. In everyone’s life there will be times where we experience painful times. It may be the death of a loved one, the ending of a relationship, finding out that you or someone close to you has a terminal illness, financial pressures. It is how we deal with our thoughts that will determine our level of happiness regardless of our external circumstances. Mark Twain once said, “You are as happy as you make up your mind to be”.
Never exercise the pinkie finger. Being the weakest finger some beginners neglect the pinkie and rely on the other 3 fingers only. This is not a good idea. The pinkie finger is as good and as important as your other fingers so use it for your own benefit.
Make money selling items on eBay. With their expertise on certain subjects and related items, they are instant experts in many subjects. Step away from the computer/paper. The only thing worse than knowing you have absolutely no idea what you’re going to write is actually looking at the blank computer screen as it emphasizes the slump you are in. Maybe just as bad is forcing yourself to write when fighting with writer’s block. All this does is load the screen with a bunch of junk that you will most likely end up deleting anyway. It is much better to just turn the screen off and walk away.
Achieving even the smallest of goals can make you feel hugely better about yourself and leads to more things getting done on the back of that lift to your spirit. If you have been meaning to clear out a cupboard for ages then get it done, it won’t take long (unless you are talking about a walk-in wardrobe sized cupboard) and you will feel such an energetic burst of achievement afterwards that you will probably keep on going and get loads done!
Don’t forget organizational skills. If you don’t have good organizational skills, you really, really, really need to take courses, buy books, or get people to teach you how to be organized. It’s very possible that you will be managing 100+ websites, and if you are not organized, you will have lots of problems, and miss lots of opportunities.
